Lahore Police Finally Seizes Vehicle After More Than 50 Traffic Violations

The City Traffic Police of Lahore has seized a vehicle for numerous traffic violations and has fined its driver. The vehicle in question is reportedly a coaster and had 47 over-speeding violations and 6 red-light violations.

Police officials stated that they have issued a fine of Rs. 39,500, and the coaster is impounded at the Faisal Town police station.

Prior to this, the City Traffic Police had seized a vehicle that had 90 traffic violations, and its owner was fined Rs. 44,000.

In similar news, Islamabad Police has issued 20,000 e-challan to motorists whose acts of overspeeding and lane indiscipline were caught on camera.

The e-challans were dispatched to the vehicle owners’ addresses and are to be paid within 10 days, after which a copy of the challan will be placed in the master file of the vehicle at the Federal Excise and Taxation Office.
