Karachiites Can Get Driving Licenses Without Pre-Appointment in September

City Traffic Police Karachi has offered the citizens the facility of new driving licenses or renewal of old ones without getting a pre-appointment.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Driving License Munir Ahmed Shaikh announced yesterday that eligible citizens can visit three driving license offices in Karachi from 23 to 24 September and benefit from the facility.

City Traffic Police authorities have issued directives to open driving licensing branches on Saturdays to further aid the citizens. This will facilitate Karachi’s businesspersons and employees, who are busy on weekdays, to get their driving licenses.

The department has also introduced its driver’s licensing services on the android app Sindh Driving License App. Through it, citizens will be able to get their appointments and avoid queues after getting tokens at Driving License Sindh (DLS) branches.
