Nokia Teases a New Tablet Launch for October 6

HMD Global has a product launch event planned for October 6 where we are going to see several new Nokia devices become official. One of these devices will be an all-new tablet which has been teased by the company’s Twitter account.

The teaser shows the tablet’s side profile around a corner with a Nokia 3310 sitting next to it.

According to previous rumors, we know that the upcoming Nokia tablet will be called the T20. It is expected to be an affordable tablet with a 10.36-inch display and a Unisoc chipset with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It will boot Android 11 out of the box and will come in 4G as well as WiFi-only models. There are no more details available as of yet.

The T20 will be Nokia’s second attempt at a tablet after nearly 6 years. The last tablet we saw from Nokia was the N1 which debuted in 2015, though it did not do too well.

We are also expecting to see new smartphones at the October 6 event. The Nokia G50 has been making rounds in the rumor mill lately and is expected to break cover during this event. It will be a cheap 5G handset powered by the Snapdragon 480 5G, a 4,850 mAh battery, and a 48MP camera setup.

There is also a Nokia flagship in the works, but that is expected to launch later on November 11.
