Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Friday announced the start of the Flood Cash Relief Program for the affectees of the floods.
In a set of tweets, Prime Minster stated that 1.5 million flood-affected families across Pakistan would be provided Rs. 25,000 each under the relief program.
آج سے میں نے سیلاب متاثرین کیلئے فلڈ ریلیف کیش پروگرام کا آغاز کر دیا ہے. ملک بھر کے 15 لاکھ سیلاب متاثرہ خاندانوں کو فوری طور پر 25 ہزار کیش امداد کی فراہمی شروع کر دی گئی ہے. تباہی کی شدت کو سامنے رکھتے ہوئے امدادی رقوم کی تقسیم کا آغاز بلوچستان کے سیلاب متاثرین سے کیا گیا ہے.

He stated that the cash disbursement program has been started from the flood victims of Balochistan, as the intensity of floods in the province has been much higher than in other provinces.
The premier further stated that under the Flood Relief Cash Program, Rs. 37.2 billion are being distributed among 9 million people on a priority basis.
Furthermore, he highlighted that the relief program is in addition to the money given to compensate for the loss of life and property.
