Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has “exonerated” Shah Bano G. M. Khan, a BS-21 officer of Inland Revenue Service from the charges leveled against her vide Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) charge Sheet and Statement of Allegations.
In this connection, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) issued a notification here on Friday.
According to the tax regulator’s notification, consequent upon finalization of disciplinary proceedings under Civil Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 2020, against Shah Bano G. M. Khan, a BS-21 officer of Inland Revenue Service, presently posted as Director General (IOCO), FBR headquarters Islamabad, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, being the authority, has exonerated her under Rule 16(5) of the Rules ibid from the charges leveled against her vide Charge Sheet and Statement of Allegations dated 23 September 2022, the FBR notification read.
