  • The leopard probably a female is looking for food definitely. It’s not invading anyones territory as Mr. Haroon Hyder penned.
We must learn cohabitation and let the food chain thrive. Although major players in ecological and environmental transformations on the planet humans do not own the ecosystems that surround them. On the individual level, the best we can attempt is to develop a clearer understanding of natural mechanisms inorder to aid/support the delicate natural processes.
STOP portraying Key Predators as evil beings. They are precious like their prey !
    02. START trying to minimize the amount of unsegregated garbage around our houses, cities, forests and waterways.
    03. Wildlife experts must lay down SOP’s and train citizens on how to react during human wildlife encounters.

    • It’s quite true but as a matter of fact humans have invaded the natural habitat of leopards and
all other species of wild life. Another factor is the rapidly growing housings and construction which has greatly disturbed the balance of the ecosystem, so some mechanism is surely to be devised to ensure the safety of such fauna of rare kind; often spotted in the woods surrounding Islamabad.
No doubt, these predators roam about inside the populace in search of food, but common people are thrilled and frightened because of the lack of any proper training or awareness campaign led by the wild life authorities. To plan such programs will reduce the danger to humans as well as to the ‘big cats’ like leopards etc.

  • There’s a safari park near the locality… it probably escape from there… the protection and control system needs to be checked and if required their license needs to be revoked

  • 1122 please catches him that Puma released him in shebaz shrif and ishaq DAARs home AFTER than catching more wild like 🐯 🦁 🐺🐾 etc and releasing them in the homeS of all politician AND AS WELL GOVERNMENT SECTORS of Pakistan INCLUDING 90% MUST and say them to #NO-MERCY to CULPRITS OF PAKISTAN 💯💯

  • Wow, that’s interesting. Leopard was damn distressed lol. It’s kinda funny but it happens all over the world, their homes are shrinking by the day therefore more and more contacts

  • An illiterate nation that they are, they will probably kill the poor thing instead of safe capture. no one will be prosecuted for it, least of all the halfwit who had caged the animal in his house. Unfortunate.

  • I hope these wild animals that are occupying the authorities these days don’t kill this endangered creature. Pakistanis are by and large emotional and can turn murderous at any given moment. Especially if they wield too much power. I hope the leopard gets a chance to live and return to its natural habitat which is being encroached upon by the uncontrolled construction and mushrooming of housing societies.

  • The Big Cat is sadly mishandled,,A wave Of Terror And Panic Is Spread All Around the vacinity

  • bhaio jab leopard ko khorak ni mile gi . to wo neeche ayega. or log kya kehrahe hain k awaam ki safety ni ha, bullshit ap log sociites bnai jarahe ho mulk ko loot liya ha. hadh ha waise yar kasam se jungle , zarai zameene khatam ker k socities bnai jarahe ho. jaanwar kaha rahe gain, apne gareban mein dekho.

  • You don’t know shit, Haider. You just referred to DHA 2 as one of the most expensive housing societies? Are you nuts?

  • No replcement for wild animals is ever provided whenever houseing societies are made in our county. Even no alternative is provided for endangered animals when jungles and agricultural land is used for constructing houseing societies. Protecting endangered animals is our legal responsibility as Pakistan is a signitary in UN for endangered animal protection also a riglious and moral responsibility being a Muslim.

  • The leopard was a pet owned by a retired major who lived in sector D. Thae cage of the leopard was left open mistakenly, and the leopard escaped after which it was captured.
