The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has taken strict action against Bahria Town Karachi over unpaid dues.
The SBCA has stopped Bahria Town Karachi from advertising and selling any property. Furthermore, a case has also been registered against its owners, Malik Riaz and Ali Riaz Malik, for the dishonoring of their three cheques, each valued at Rs. 64,168,762.
According to the authority, the action was taken after the developers of the real estate project failed to pay scrutiny fees to the regulator. However, it didn’t reveal the amount Malik Riaz’s Bahria Town owes.
Additionally, it didn’t respond to the show-cause notice for the dishonoring of its cheques. The SBCA informed Bahria Town about the withdrawal of its No-Objection Certificate (NOC) for the sale and advertisement of its Karachi project via a letter.
Bahria Town Karachi has been in the media spotlight for all the wrong reasons for a number of years now.
It should be recalled that it was stopped from selling plots and residential units over irregularities regarding the acquisition of land for Bahria Town Karachi from the Sindh government by a three-member bench of the Supreme Court.
First let a multi billion project to start and then start blackmailing after the project. It is a way to get good amount of money.
You are absolutely correct. SCBA is a highly corrupt department where not 99 but 100% employee are corrupt and work as a gangster.
How did SBCA allowed Bahria town to happen in the first place? Actions must be taken against SBCA authorities who allowed Bahria town to start the construction. Mafia!

SCBA is a gang of crooks. One can get anything approved after greasing their palms. Only Allah can take them into account. Rest of all agencies are all corrupt to the core. They will get their share and close the case

Since the beginning Bahria Town is famous for all the wrong reasons, Corrupt, land grabber ,mafia gang. But people still continue to buy the plots and homes knowingly they are taking risk for all the wrong reasons , now they are crying and criticizing SBCA.
