Windows 11 Now Has Support for Over 3000 Android Games

In 2021, Microsoft introduced Windows 11, ushering in a plethora of exciting new features. One particular standout was the ability to run Android apps on your PC. This innovation significantly expanded the already extensive gaming support on the platform, providing users with access to a much broader array of games.

While Google had previously unveiled its intentions to bring Android games to Windows via the Play Games PC store, gamers had to wait for a full-blown gaming experience. Fortunately, the waiting period has now concluded, as the store, which was previously in beta, is now gaining additional features and an ever-growing library of gaming titles.

Google’s latest announcement reveals that the Play Games PC store now boasts an impressive collection of over 3,000 Android games available for Windows PCs. This diverse library encompasses a wide range of titles, including crowd-pleasers like Asphalt 9: Legends, BADLAND, Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, and many more.

Google has taken significant strides by partnering with major game publishers, such as Activision Blizzard, EA, and Konami, with several of their games scheduled to be added in the forthcoming weeks.

To play Android games on a PC, you need to download and install the Play Games PC app. Once the app is in place, you can seamlessly sign in with your Google account and browse through the extensive game catalog. Games can be conveniently downloaded and installed directly from the application, allowing you to sync your progress between your Android device and Windows PC.

In addition to this impressive array of games, Google has enhanced the Play Games PC app with several new features. These updates encompass support for Xbox and PS5 controllers, a user-friendly search bar for the games library, and the flexibility to adjust the size and resolution of game windows.
