TEVTA Now Offers 5 New Language Courses

The Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) institutes have started five new language courses.

These courses will commence on August 5 and run for three months. They will cover languages like German, Korean, Japanese, Arabic, and Chinese to prepare young people for better job opportunities overseas.

Provincial Minister for Industry and Commerce Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, while announcing the launch of these courses, highlighted the importance of these language skills in enhancing career prospects abroad during his announcement.

He stressed the need to ensure high-quality teaching standards and upgrade the course labs’ facilities.

It is pertinent to mention that German classes will be in Lahore and Gujarat, Japanese in Rawalpindi, Korean in Sialkot, and Arabic in Multan.

TEVTA’s Senior Director General, Akhtar Abbas Bharwana, also provided detailed insights into the course structure and the qualifications required for the instructors.

The initiative is part of a broader effort to equip the youth with practical skills and knowledge about employment opportunities, immigration rules, and other relevant issues in foreign countries.
