The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the schedule for the upcoming tours of Bangladesh A and Sri Lanka A teams to Pakistan. Pakistan Shaheens are set to participate in four additional four-day matches and six 50-over games against Bangladesh A and Sri Lanka A as part of these tours, slated for August and November this year.
Bangladesh A Tour of Pakistan
Following the completion of the second four-dayer against Bangladesh A in Darwin, Australia, on July 29, both teams will shift their focus to Pakistan. The first four-day match between Pakistan Shaheens and Bangladesh A will take place from August 10-13, with the second match scheduled for August 17-20. The specific venues for these matches are yet to be confirmed.
The four-day encounters will be followed by a series of three 50-over matches, scheduled for August 23, 25, and 27.
Sri Lanka A Tour of Pakistan
In November, Sri Lanka A will arrive in Pakistan for a series of five matches against Pakistan Shaheens. The tour will commence with two four-day matches, scheduled from November 11-14 and November 18-21. These matches will be followed by three 50-over games on November 25, 27, and 29. The venues for these matches will be announced in due course.
Emerging and U19 Tournaments
Additionally, the PCB highlighted the participation of Pakistan’s Emerging and U19 teams in upcoming tournaments. The Pakistan Emerging team is set to defend their ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup title in October. Meanwhile, the Pakistan U19 team will compete in a 50-over Tri-Nation Tournament and the ACC U19 Asia Cup, both scheduled for November/December. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) will provide further details on these tournaments in the coming weeks.
