Pakistan Street Child Football Team Clinch Second Victory in Norway Cup

The Pakistan Street Child Football Team clinched a second victory against Vardenest BK by 5-1 at Europe’s largest youth football tournament.

The national street child football team defeated Norway’s Astor Football Club with a score of 6-1 in the first match. They followed this with their second win against Vardeneset BK.

Meanwhile ‘Better Future Pakistan’ team registered their second victory in the Norway Cup tournament in the Under-15 category against Trio IL which is an amateur 5th tier club of Norway. BFP defeated Trio IL emphatically with a 6-0 score-line.

Speaking after the match, team captain Muhammad Adeel stated that they have practiced rigorously and learned new techniques, and they are confident that they will win all their matches.

In the first match, Astor Football Club scored the first goal of the match in the first half, but shortly after, the Pakistan Street Child Football team equalized.

In the second half, the national street child football team competing in the Under-17 category scored 5 consecutive goals. Abdul Ghani scored 2 goals, while Isa, Junaid, Owais, and Muhammad Khan each scored 1 goal.

It is noteworthy that the national street child football team is participating in the Norway Cup 2024 and they reached the final last year of this competition where they lost on penalties.
