Pakistan Women’s Team Achieve Highest Individual Ratings in ICC Rankings

Pakistan women’s team stars who had stellar performances in the recent Women’s Asia Cup have reached career-high ratings and made notable advances in the latest ICC Women’s T20I Player Rankings.

Pakistan’s Muneeba Ali also reached a career-high rating, jumping six places to 35th in the T20I batter rankings thanks to her strong Asia Cup performance.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s opener Gull Feroza (up 32 places to 64th) also made significant gains following her notable batting displays in the tournament.

In the T20I bowlers’ rankings, Pakistan‘s Sadia Iqbal achieved a career-high rating, moving up one place to fourth, trailing England’s Sophie Ecclestone. Sadia’s eight wickets at an average of 8.37 in the Asia Cup significantly contributed to her rise.

India’s opener Smriti Mandhana, who played a pivotal 60-run inning in the Asia Cup final, has achieved her best-ever T20I batter ranking, moving up to fourth place, just behind Australia’s Beth Mooney.

Sri Lanka’s inspirational captain Chamari Athapaththu climbed three places to sixth in the T20I batter rankings, marking her highest rating ever.

Athapaththu’s extraordinary performance, which earned her the Player of the Tournament title, saw her accumulate a stunning 304 runs at an average of over 100.

Bangladesh’s Nigar Sultana has risen up to three spots in 14th place, Sri Lanka’s Harshitha Samarawickrama also escalated up to three places achieving 20th place.

India’s Renuka Singh climbed four places to fifth in the T20I bowlers’ rankings after taking seven wickets at an average of 13.14 during the tournament. Her teammate Radha Yadav surged seven places to 13th in the same list.

In the T20I all-rounder rankings, Sri Lanka’s Kavisha Dilhari moved up 10 places to 17th, bolstered by her impressive performances with both bat and ball in the Asia Cup, placing her just behind West Indies cricketer Hayley Matthews.
