German Citizen Falls Victim to Street Crime in Lahore

In a tragic incident, a German national was attacked and robbed by armed men in Lahore, a city renowned for its hospitality, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The incident occurred in the northern cantonment area where 27-year-old Berg Florain was camping in a park when armed men assaulted him.

Narrating his ordeal to the police, Berg said the assailants stole an expensive cellphone, cash, and a camera worth Rs500,000 before fleeing.

Eyewitnesses reported that the severely injured foreigner, who was barely conscious, managed to reach the Rangers’ office on a bicycle before collapsing.

They quickly took Berg to a Rangers’ hospital for treatment. Later, they escorted him to a police station where an FIR was registered based on his complaint.

Meanwhile, the SP Cantonment stated that investigations are underway and the culprits will soon be apprehended.
