The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) lodged First Information Reports (FIRs) on Monday against officials of two illegal housing schemes on GT Road, Gujar Khan.
The FIRs were filed against team members of Mega City/Iqbal City for unauthorized advertising through Ms GK Mega City Developers, and New Metro City for unauthorized advertising through Ms. BSM Developers.
An RDA spokesperson stated that legal actions are being taken against illegal advertisements and marketing of unauthorized housing schemes. Notices are issued to the owners of these schemes to cease their advertisements before FIRs are lodged, but they fail to comply.
The spokesperson emphasized that advertising, marketing, and development of illegal housing projects without the requisite NOC is prohibited. The RDA advises the general public not to invest in illegal housing schemes. Sponsors are also warned to stop marketing their unapproved schemes immediately and to contact the RDA for NOC/approval, or face strict legal action.
The RDA has also sent letters to the Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi, FIA Cyber Crime Islamabad, Overseas Pakistanis Foundation, SNGPL, District Collector, District Council Rawalpindi, PEMRA, and the Commissioner Islamabad regarding the illegal advertisements of private housing schemes on social media.
RDA Director General Kinza Murtaza has ordered strict action against illegal housing schemes, constructions, and commercial activities.

What about other illegal housing societies. There names should also be mentioned and FIRs be launched like Rudn, Blue World etc
Where is NAB & RDA on the Ministery of Commerce Housing Society.
Why are only these 2 societies being targeted all of a sudden? Where were the authorities before? Are they being targeted only because of their affiliation with certain ppl? What about the other societies that are illegally occupying land from people all over in isb, rwp, and khi? If actions is to be taken, it should be taken across the board…

Why is no one talking about the STAR Enclave of the MASS Developers? The developers still are operating fancy offices after looting billions of rupees from investors for a society which never existed. Is there really no accountability? Will the investors ever get their investment back? Will the authorities try regulating these real estate agents who play the role of front ment for these fake and fraudulent housing and commercial project?
Star enclave by star marketing was a big fraud. Star marketing office still working, no action was taken against the company.
