The federal government has appointed Fahad Haroon as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Digital Media, a notification issued by the Cabinet Division revealed on Thursday.
According to the notification, his position as SAPM will be equal to that of a Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s cabinet.
Fahad Haroon previously held the position of special assistant to the caretaker PM Anwaarul Haq Kakar last year. Before this, he served as SAPM/minister of state on public communication and digital platforms in the 2022 coalition government.
