Following the unveiling of the Realme 13 Pro and Pro+ models, the focus now shifts to the standard Realme 13 4G, scheduled for launch today in Indonesia. Unlike its Pro counterparts, the Realme 13 4G operates on LTE networks rather than 5G.
Given the recent July launch of the Realme 12 4G, the latest model represents a relatively minor upgrade. The primary difference between the two lies in the Realme 13 4G’s enhanced dust resistance rating of IP64 compared to the IP54 rating of its predecessor. Other specifications remain largely unchanged.
The Realme 13 4G features a 6.67-inch OLED display constructed with E4 material and offers 1080p resolution. The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate, and covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Typical brightness reaches 600 nits, with a peak of 2,000 nits, supported by 4,096 brightness levels.
Integrated into the display is a fingerprint reader capable of measuring heart rate.
The device is equipped with a Snapdragon 685 chipset instead of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 found in the Pro models. To manage thermal performance, Realme has incorporated a 7-layer cooling system featuring a 4,392mm² vapor chamber.
For software, you get Android 14 working underneath Realme UI 5.0. There is also a memory card slot for storage expansion.
The device’s rear camera system comprises a 50MP main sensor utilizing the Sony LYT-600 image sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and 26mm focal length, accompanied by OIS for stable videos and photos. A depth sensor complements the main camera.
On the front, a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture is present. Both cameras can capture 1080p video at 30 FPS.
The Realme 13 4G houses a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging, achieving a 50% charge in 19 minutes and a full charge in 47 minutes.
The device is available in two storage options: 8 GB RAM with 128 GB storage priced at $185 and 8 GB RAM with 256 GB storage priced at $200. Color choices include Skyline Blue and Pioneer Green.
