Poco F7 Appears in Leaks for the First Time

Leaked specifications of the upcoming Redmi Turbo 4, expected to be rebranded as the Poco F7 for the global market, have surfaced online. A Weibo leakster has revealed key details about the device, suggesting a strong resemblance to its predecessor, the Poco F6, which was a rebranded Redmi Turbo 3.

According to the leak, the Poco F7, and by extension, the Redmi Turbo 4, will boast a substantial battery capacity, described as “super large” and speculated to be at least 5,500 mAh.

The leak also points to a “1.5K” flat display and a plastic frame. Additionally, the leakster disclosed the alleged model numbers: 2412DRT0AC for the Redmi Turbo 4, 2412DPC0AG for the global Poco F7 variant, and 2412DPC0AI for the Indian market.

Although the model numbers hint at a December 2024 release, Xiaomi and its sub-brands are known to deviate from the launch timelines suggested by these identifiers. For instance, the Poco F6 debuted in May, and its successor, the Poco F7, is likely to follow a similar launch schedule next year.

Intriguingly, the Chinese leakster speculates about the Redmi Turbo 4’s chipset, suggesting either a Dimensity 8400 or a potentially underclocked Dimensity 9300. However, it’s crucial to emphasize that this information remains speculative. As a point of reference, the current Poco F6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

As the rumored launch date draws near, we should start hearing more about the Redmi Turbo 3/Poco F7. Stay tuned for more.
