Electric car maker has introduced Zeekr 007 2025 at the Evolution New Generation press conference, showcasing several significant upgrades. The new model includes advancements in battery technology, performance, and intelligent driving systems, aiming to solidify its position as a leading electric vehicle (EV) in the market.
New Battery Technology
One of the most notable upgrades is the introduction of the second-generation Golden Battery. This battery, also known as the Golden Brick Battery, is a lithium iron phosphate battery developed in-house by Zeekr.
The latest version of this battery improves its charging speed from 4.5C to 5.5C, allowing it to charge from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes, which is 4.5 minutes faster than the previous generation.
Zeekr claims this makes the 2025 Zeekr 007 the fastest-charging mass-produced EV in the world. The long-range versions of the car retain the 100 kWh CATL Qilin battery, known for its ultra-fast 5C charging capability.
Performance
The 2025 Zeekr 007 is available in four versions:
- Rear-wheel drive intelligent driving: ¥209,900 (approx. $29,350)
- Long-range rear-wheel drive intelligent driving: ¥229,900 (approx. $32,150)
- Four-wheel drive intelligent driving: ¥229,900 (approx. $32,150)
- Four-wheel drive performance version: ¥299,900 (approx. $41,950)
The vehicle has seen improvements in acceleration across its various models. The rear-wheel drive versions now accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.0 seconds, down from 5.4 seconds.
The standard all-wheel drive version has seen a slight improvement from 3.5 seconds to 3.4 seconds. The four-wheel drive performance version retains its impressive acceleration time of 2.84 seconds, which Zeekr claims makes it the fastest accelerating mid-level pure electric car available.
Advanced Intelligent Driving System
The new Haohan intelligent driving 2.0 system is another highlight of the 2025 Zeekr 007. This system combines Lidar and visual sensors powered by two Nvidia Orin X chips, providing 508 TOPS of computing power.
With this setup, the vehicle can navigate 30 complex driving scenarios with over 95% accuracy and introduces 1000 new traffic scenarios, improving cognitive accuracy by more than 120%. The parking system has also been enhanced, featuring a remote control fingertip parking option, and future updates are expected to enable full door-to-door driving capability by early 2025.
Upgraded Operating System and Design
The Zeekr OS AI system has been upgraded to allow voice control of all vehicle functions from any location inside the cabin. The system also offers proactive recommendations based on different driving scenarios, such as reminding the driver to charge the car or adjusting the air conditioning when entering a tunnel.
Aesthetic updates to the 2025 Zeekr 007 include new 20-inch wheel designs and 19-inch multi-spoke wheels with blacked-out styling. The exterior color options have been expanded to include a new sky green color, and the four-wheel drive performance version comes with an exclusive shadow black color. Inside, a new teal green accent option is available.
With these comprehensive updates, the 2025 Zeekr 007 demonstrates Zeekr’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of electric vehicle technology.
