Tayyab played a heroic knock during Pakistan A’s match against the Melbourne Stars. The Aussie side, having won the toss, elected to bat first and set a formidable target of 175 runs, thanks to strong performances by Ashley Chandrasinghe, who scored 47, and Liam Blackford, who added 55 runs.
Despite Tahir’s impressive performance on the field, scoring 57 runs off 43 balls, Pakistan A fell short in their chase, losing to the Melbourne Stars by 47 runs.
