The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has introduced major reforms to its travel ban-lifting procedures, aiming to reduce bureaucracy and improve efficiency.
The UAE’s Ministry of Justice has launched a fully automated system to handle the lifting of travel bans, eliminating the previously lengthy and complex process.
As part of the “Zero Government Bureaucracy” initiative, the UAE has simplified the travel ban-lifting process with the following key features:
Previously, lifting a travel ban involved a lengthy legal process, including the submission of proof of lawsuit termination, which often delayed the process. Now, with the new automated system, travel bans are lifted almost instantly for eligible individuals, removing the need for legal documentation or lengthy procedures.
By eliminating unnecessary bureaucracy and introducing automated services, the UAE has set an example of how modern governments can operate in the digital age.
