AirSial is Adding Two New Aircraft to its Fleet Soon

AirSial is set to expand its fleet with the addition of two aircraft early next year, in preparation for launching international operations from Pakistan to various countries.

The airline is acquiring two A320 aircraft, each with a seating capacity of 180 passengers. This expansion will increase the private airline’s fleet size to seven aircraft.

A ceremony marking the acquisition took place at Al Nafoorah – Jumeirah Al Qasr in Dubai, attended by Executive Vice President Airline Leasing & Sales BOC Aviation Alban Cruiziat, AirSial Chairman Fazal Jilani, Vice Chairman Muhammad Umer Mir, and COO Tariq Amim.

Notably, AirSial, which was launched by Sialkot’s business community on December 9, 2020, received permission to operate international flights on seven routes, including destinations in China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkiye, the United Kingdom, and Kuwait.

The airline commenced its international flight operations on December 31, 2021. The first chartered flight, carrying 162 passengers, departed from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport to Dubai, following a cake-cutting ceremony at the airport.

AirSial initially began domestic flight services on December 25, 2020, using Airbus A320-200 aircraft on the Karachi-Islamabad route, starting its operations with a fleet of three Airbus A320-200 planes.
