A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) staff member returned a bag containing cash to its rightful owner at Sialkot International Airport on Tuesday, as reported by ARY News.
According to details, a passenger traveling from Dammam to Sialkot via PIA accidentally left behind a bag containing Rs5 million in cash.
The PIA cabin crew found the lost cash and handed it over to the airport authorities, who then contacted the owner and returned the money to him. The passenger expressed his gratitude to the authorities for returning his lost cash.
In a similar incident earlier, on February 10, a porter at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport demonstrated honesty by returning a significant amount of foreign currency to a passenger. Badshah Khan, who had arrived from Riyadh via PIA flight PK-9728, lost 16,000 riyals in the airport lounge. The cash was found by another passenger, who informed the porter. Together, they ensured the money was returned to its rightful owner.
Its hard to get these kind of people nowadays.their numbers are decreasing rapidly.they cant live in current environment of Pakistan.either converted or killed.
Is it legal to bring/carry Rs.5 million (or equivalent amount in foreign currency) from another country into Pakistan? Also, the Saudi law does not allow a person to carry with him this much money out of the country.
