Bangladesh’s star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has unveiled his all-time ODI XI, featuring some of the most celebrated names in the sport’s history.
The lineup reflects a blend of explosive batting, versatile all-rounders, and a formidable bowling attack in the all-time ODI XI of the Bangladeshi cricketing icon.
Opening the batting are India’s Sachin Tendulkar, widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the game, and Pakistan’s Saeed Anwar, forming a left-right combination that promises both stability and aggression at the top.
In the critical number three spot, Shakib has chosen West Indies’ power-hitter Chris Gayle, known for his ability to dominate bowlers with his aggressive stroke play. Following him at number four is India’s Virat Kohli, a modern-day great renowned for his consistency and chasing prowess.
South African legend Jacques Kallis, one of cricket’s finest all-rounders, slots in at number five, adding both batting depth and bowling options. Shakib has entrusted the captaincy and wicketkeeping duties to India’s MS Dhoni, famed for his astute leadership and finishing ability.
Shakib himself takes the number seven spot, bringing in his all-round capabilities to further strengthen the side. The spin department features two of the greatest in the business: Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan and Australia’s Shane Warne, a duo feared by batsmen worldwide.
