The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has released a power shutdown schedule for the Sargodha region due to essential repair, maintenance, and expansion work on electricity lines.
According to the notice from the Superintending Engineer (Operation) FESCO Circle Sargodha, the power outages will occur between September 4th and 16th, 2024, with the affected 132 KV grid stations experiencing shutdowns from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The power shutdown will impact several areas, including the 132 KV grid stations at Bhalwal, Bhagtanwala, Brana, Kotmoman, Karana, Sargodha City, and the 66 KV Jahanian Shah station.
FESCO officials have advised residents to prepare for these disruptions and take necessary precautions. For detailed information on specific areas and timing, residents are encouraged to consult the official FESCO notice or contact their local FESCO office.
Earlier this month, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the power supply company and the Punjab government to provide relief to consumers in electricity bills for the month of August and September.
As part of this agreement, steps have been initiated to provide a relief of Rs. 14 per unit to domestic consumers in the FESCO region for their August and September electricity bills. This relief will apply to consumers using between 201 and 500 units.
