CM Punjab Unveils Smart Classroom Project

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the AI-powered “Smart Classroom Project” at Government Kinnaird Girls High School on Empress Road. This groundbreaking initiative, developed in partnership with Huawei, marks a significant advancement in Punjab’s educational system by integrating cutting-edge technology into classrooms, according to a press release from Huawei on Monday.

The project introduces advanced features such as cameras that record lectures, enabling students to review and engage with lessons even outside of class time. This initiative aims to improve the quality of education and make learning more interactive and accessible.

During her visit to the Huawei Smart Classrooms, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasized the importance of the project, stating, “Integrating Huawei’s technology into our classrooms reflects our dedication to providing high-quality education to every student in Punjab. Our objective is to elevate every government school to the standards of the best private institutions.”
