Punjab Police Officer Riffat Bukhari has earned an international accolade. The International Association of Women Police (IAWP) honored SSP Riffat Bukhari with a prestigious global award for her outstanding services.
The IAWP presented this award to SSP Riffat Bukhari of the Punjab Police during its 61st Annual Conference held in Chicago, USA.
According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, SSP Riffat Bukhari is currently serving in Punjab Safe Cities. This award is given annually to one female police officer worldwide in recognition of exceptional services.
Riffat Bukhari was recognized for her contributions to women’s protection, the development of AI-based road safety mechanisms, and intelligent traffic management.
During the conference, IAWP President Debra Friedl presented the award to Riffat Bukhari. IG Punjab Usman Anwar and MD Safe Cities Authority Ahsan Younus congratulated Riffat Bukhari on this achievement. Dr. Usman Anwar remarked that SSP Riffat Bukhari’s success is a source of pride for female officers.
