Amid the influx of tri-fold phones from several major Chinese brands, Huawei has confirmed the announcement date for its highly teased tri-fold phones.
The Chinese brand has scheduled a “grand ceremony” to unveil new products on September 10 among which will be the company’s first tri-fold phone as confirmed by the teaser poster. The poster shows a phone folding at two different angles with two hinges in a Z shape.

Another teaser suggests a five-seat version of the Aito M9 electric car. We might also see the new Watch GT 5 and Watch D2 smartwatches featuring Huawei’s TruSense technology.
Huawei has kept its new foldable phone a secret. We only know it will fold in a Z-shape. There haven’t been any leaks, which might mean Huawei is being very secretive or the announcement will only be a product demo. That said, it will most likely be a concept phone without commercial availability.
As for the Aito M9, it is similar to the original but has five seats instead of six. It comes as a partnership between Huawei and Seres. Huawei provides the HarmonyOS operating system, voice assistant, chips, LiDAR sensors, and facial recognition for the automobile.
Unlike the tri-fold phone, the Aito M9 will see a full-fledged product launch with commercial availability set to commence sometime after the announcement date. It will most likely remain exclusive to China.
