Hyundai Increases Its Car Prices By Up to Rs. 275,000

In an unexpected move, Hyundai Nishat has announced a hike in car prices. The company attributed this decision to the recent rise in global freight charges, which has affected their products.

They stated that after holding prices steady for a significant period, they are now forced to adjust their pricing structure accordingly. Hyundai Nishat has raised the prices of Elantra, Tucson, Sonata, and Porter models. The revised prices will take effect from October 1, 2024.

Following are the revised prices for Hyundai cars after the recent increase:

Hyundai Elantra

  • The Elantra 2.0 previously cost Rs. 6,930,000. Following a price increase of Rs. 250,000, the new price is now Rs. 7,180,000.

Hyundai Tucson

  • Tucson GLS (FWD): Previously priced at Rs. 7,165,000, the new price is Rs. 7,315,000 after a Rs. 150,000 increase.
  • Tucson GLS Sport (FWD): The price has risen by Rs. 250,000, bringing the cost from Rs. 8,030,000 to Rs. 8,280,000.
  • Tucson Ultimate (AWD): Previously Rs. 8,659,000, the new price is Rs. 8,909,000, reflecting a Rs. 250,000 hike.

Hyundai Sonata

  • Sonata 2.0: Previously priced at Rs. 9,979,000, the new price is Rs. 10,229,000 after a Rs. 250,000 increase.
  • Sonata 2.5: The old price was Rs. 10,930,000, and it has now increased by Rs. 275,000, bringing the new price to Rs. 11,205,000.

Hyundai Porter

  • Porter High Deck (with AC): The price has increased from Rs. 4,189,000 to Rs. 4,389,000, a rise of Rs. 200,000.
  • Porter Flat Deck (with AC): Previously Rs. 4,169,000, now costs Rs. 4,369,000 following a Rs. 200,000 increase.
  • Porter Deckless (with AC): Increased from Rs. 4,149,000 to Rs. 4,349,000, marking a Rs. 200,000 rise.
  • Porter High Deck (without AC): The price has risen from Rs. 4,079,000 to Rs. 4,279,000, up by Rs. 200,000.
  • Porter Flat Deck (without AC): Increased from Rs. 4,059,000 to Rs. 4,259,000 after a Rs. 200,000 hike.
  • Porter Deckless (without AC): Now costs Rs. 4,239,000, up from Rs. 4,039,000, reflecting a Rs. 200,000 increase.
