Tecno Unveils Generative AI Features And World’s Smallest Water-Cooled Gaming PC

Tecno took the stage at the recent IFA Berlin 2024 tech event to unveil a suite of new products including its first set of generative AI features to match up with the competition as well as the world’s smallest water-cooled mini gaming PC. Other than that, we also got to see a Windows gaming handheld paired with AR glasses and Tecno’s AIoT ecosystem.

Tecno AI

Tecno’s AI Vision is designed to empower users in emerging markets with enhanced productivity, creativity, and convenience. The system prioritizes “Practical AI” with a strong emphasis on localization, offering features such as translation for minority languages and seamless integration with popular local apps to streamline daily tasks.

Key components of AI Vision include the upgraded Ella AI Assistant, which provides intelligent scheduling, real-time translation capabilities, and AI-powered writing tools for efficient content management. Creative tools like AI Artboard and AI Video Production further enhance productivity, allowing users to generate artwork and videos with ease. Tecno plans to integrate AI Vision on its devices, including smartphones, laptops, and more.

Mega Mini Gaming G1

Tecno has made a splash in the gaming PC market with its Mega Mini Gaming G1, touted as the world’s smallest water-cooled gaming mini PC. Despite its remarkably compact size, measuring a mere 255 x 150 x 150mm, the G1 packs a punch in terms of performance.

Under the hood, it boasts powerful components, including an Intel Core i9-13900H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU with DLSS 3 technology, ensuring a smooth and immersive gaming experience. To keep temperatures in check, Tecno has implemented a sophisticated cooling system featuring a copper heatsink, dual fans, and water cooling.

The Mega Mini Gaming G1 doesn’t skimp on features either. It boasts customizable RGB lighting, a robust 330W GaN adapter, and support for Thunderbolt 4 connectivity. There is no word on pricing or availability.

Pocket Go

Tecno has more to share with the mobile gaming market with its innovative Tecno Pocket Go, a unique device that combines AR glasses with a Windows handheld console. The Pocket Go utilizes advanced head-tracking technology and vibration algorithms to create a truly immersive gaming experience.

Its accompanying AR Pocket Vision glasses feature a compact 0.71-inch micro-OLED screen that projects a virtual display equivalent to a massive 215-inch television viewed from 6 meters away, providing a cinema-like visual experience in a portable form factor.

Powering the Tecno Pocket Go is an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor, delivering desktop-class performance capable of handling demanding games at high frame rates. The device incorporates Hall Effect joysticks and triggers, providing precise tactile feedback for enhanced control and immersion. With a replaceable 50Wh battery and a robust PC-grade cooling system, the Tecno Pocket Go ensures extended gameplay sessions without compromising on performance.

There was no mention of pricing or availability for the Tecno Pocket Go either.

Tecno AIot Ecosystem

Tecno’s presence at IFA Berlin 2024 extended far beyond its gaming and AI innovations, as the company unveiled its comprehensive AIoT ecosystem. Visitors to the Tecno booth were treated to an impressive array of smart devices, highlighting the brand’s vision for a connected future.

The showcase featured a diverse lineup of products, including cutting-edge laptops and futuristic robotic dogs. In the wearables category, Tecno is spotlighting its True 1 Air TWS and FreeHear 1 earbuds, designed to deliver seamless connectivity and enhanced user convenience.
