Gold Rate in Pakistan Remains Within Sight of Record High After Another Gain 

The price of gold in Pakistan posted an increase of Rs. 1,300 per tola on Tuesday.  

 According to data issued by the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of gold (24 carats) rose by Rs. 1,300 per tola to Rs. 261,700, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs. 1,114 to Rs. 224,365.  

 Yesterday, the price of the precious metal in the local market fell by Rs. 1,100 per tola to Rs. 260,400.  

In the international market, spot gold was down 0.1 percent to $2,501.66 per ounce by 0810 GMT, while the US gold futures were unchanged at $2,530.60.
