Here’s What iPhone 16’s Price in Pakistan is Going to Be

The Apple iPhone 16 series became official yesterday including the iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max. These phones come with significantly enhanced A18/A18 Pro 3nm chipsets with generative AI features, enhanced photography, and a lot more.

These phones are not commercially available anywhere yet but should roll out globally later this month, including in Pakistan. We know the base iPhone 16 costs $800 in the US, meaning we can make a few predictions about its possible price in Pakistan.

$800 converts into Rs. 223,323 according to today’s exchange rate. Adding 25% of fixed sales tax on top of this price brings it up to Rs. 279,154 (rounded off), but we are still not accounting for profit margins set by local retailers yet. Since we don’t have an accurate amount of this value, we can assume the Apple iPhone 16 will cost over Rs. 330,000 in Pakistan, but prices may vary across different retailers.

Likewise, the iPhone 16 Plus, which costs $900, could easily go up to Rs. 370,000 or more. Meanwhile, the most expensive iPhone 16 Pro Max, which will retail for $1,199 in the US can be expected to go over Rs. 500,000 in Pakistan for the base model. Variants with more storage can likewise be expected to reach Rs. 600,000.

However, keep in mind that the prices mentioned above are purely based on speculation and the actual price tags will only be unveiled once the phone arrives in Pakistan. As it stands, there is currently no indication of a Pakistan launch.
