KP to Fire 1,800 Employees Hired by Interim Govt

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced the termination of 1,800 employees hired by the interim government. This decision targets appointments made during the caretaker administration.

In his statement, Gandapur assured that he would address any protests from the affected employees. He emphasized that salaries would not be provided to those appointed improperly, although individuals hired through legitimate channels would be spared.

Gandapur criticized the interim government for its authority in making these appointments, claiming they were driven by political biases rather than merit.

He accused the interim administration of engaging in political favoritism, with positions handed out to various political groups.
