Suzuki Bolan Discontinued, Every to Launch Soon

The iconic Suzuki Bolan, known as the “Carry Dabba,” is officially discontinued in Pakistan. After years of speculation, the news has now been confirmed. A photo recently circulated on social media, showing the final batch of incomplete Bolan vehicles with a sign reading, “Bye Bye Y88V Bolan,” marking the end of its production.

A company official confirmed the development, stating that the last batch has been completed. The Suzuki Bolan, once a popular choice despite its outdated design and lack of safety features, will now be replaced by the Suzuki Every.

For years, the Bolan was criticized for its lack of modern specs, comfort, and safety, but remained in demand due to limited alternatives. The introduction of the Changan Karvaan provided some competition, but it wasn’t until now that Suzuki finally retired the Bolan.

The replacement, Suzuki Every, has been long anticipated. Although first showcased at the Lahore Auto Show, its launch was delayed due to import restrictions and other challenges. However, it is now confirmed that the new Every will hit the roads in October 2024, marking a new era for Suzuki in Pakistan.

This shift signifies the end of the Bolan’s long-standing presence on the country’s roads.
