British-Pakistani boxer Hamzah Sheeraz captured the Middleweight European Boxing title with a decisive victory over British contender Tyler Denny at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium on Sunday. The bout showcased Sheeraz’s formidable talent as he maintained his undefeated record, now standing at an impressive 21-0.
Sheeraz, 25, demonstrated his prowess early in the match, sending Denny to the canvas twice before securing a technical knockout victory. The first knockdown came swiftly in the opening round, courtesy of a precise right cross and left hook combination. Sheeraz continued his aggressive approach in the second round, delivering a powerful left hook that floored the southpaw Denny once more. Despite Denny’s resilience in getting back on his feet, referee Mark Bates deemed him unable to continue, waving off the fight and awarding Sheeraz the victory.

This victory adds another accolade to Sheeraz’s growing list of achievements. Earlier in May, he triumphed over Austin “Ammo” Williams at the Queensberry v Matchroom event in Riyadh. In addition to the European title, Sheeraz holds the Commonwealth and WBC ‘Silver’ titles.
For Tyler Denny, 33, the defeat marked a significant setback, breaking his six-fight winning streak and altering his record to 19-3-3. Despite the loss, Denny’s performance throughout his career has been commendable, and he remains a respected figure in British boxing.
Hamzah Sheeraz’s victory at Wembley not only enhances his reputation but also positions him as a formidable contender on the international stage. As he continues to build on his undefeated record, fans eagerly anticipate his next move, with potential matchups against other top-tier middleweights on the horizon.
