The Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) has initiated a crackdown on illegal, unregistered, and private housing schemes and towns.
“Almost all housing schemes and towns currently under development or selling plot files are unregistered and have not been approved by the district scrutiny committee, led by the Deputy Commissioner,” said Mazhar Muzaffar Awan, the tehsil municipal officer, in a press briefing on Sunday.
He explained that the crackdown was launched because most of these schemes were defrauding the public by issuing fake allotment letters and files.

“We have sealed the offices and filed an FIR against the Paradigm City Housing Scheme, which began selling plots without even acquiring the land,” Awan stated, urging people to avoid purchasing plots from these unapproved schemes.
“We have publicly listed the names of all 14 private housing schemes and towns in the tehsil and have begun legal proceedings against them,” Awan added. He also noted that influential land grabbers were behind these fraudulent housing projects, swindling people out of their hard-earned money.
Awan further mentioned that legal actions are underway to arrest those responsible for operating these fake and unregistered housing schemes. “The provincial government has enacted the KP Private Housing Scheme Management and Regulation Rules 2021, and we have issued notices to unregistered and unlicensed schemes following these rules,” he said.

What about Karachi? Is it for all corrupted and land grabbers???
