Bravo’s appointment comes as a replacement for Gautam Gambhir, who vacated the mentor position in July after being named the head coach of the Indian men’s cricket team.

The transition marks a new chapter for Bravo, who has been a key figure in the Trinbago Knight Riders, KKR’s sister franchise in the Caribbean Premier League, for the past decade.

Venky Mysore, CEO of the Knight Riders Group, expressed his enthusiasm about Bravo’s new role, highlighting the all-rounder’s extensive experience and winning mentality as invaluable assets to the team.

Mysore also noted that Bravo’s involvement would extend beyond the IPL, contributing to the Knight Riders’ global franchises, including those in the CPL, MLC, and ILT20.

Bravo, reflecting on his new role, emphasized his respect for the Knight Riders’ organization, praising their professionalism and family-like environment.

He sees this opportunity as an ideal platform to transition from playing to mentoring, aiming to nurture the next generation of cricketing talent.

Bravo embarks on this new journey, the cricketing world watches with anticipation, eager to see the impact of his mentorship on the defending IPL champions.
