Well-known Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik arrived in Pakistan on Monday for a 15-day visit. He landed at Islamabad International Airport and was greeted by officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, including Syed Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman and Shamsher Ali Mazari.
Dr. Naik is in Pakistan at the government’s invitation and will give public lectures in several cities, including Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. His tour will kick off in Karachi on October 5 at Bagh-e-Quaid, where he will discuss “The Purpose of Our Life.”
His son, Shaikh Fariq Zakir Naik, will also speak at the event on “Kya Quran Ko Samajh Kar Parhna Zaroori Hai?” Lahore is set to host two important events at the iconic Minar-e-Pakistan.
On Saturday, October 12, 2024, the event will begin at 6:15 PM with Shaikh Fariq Naik delivering a lecture titled “Dawah Ya Halakat,” followed by Dr. Zakir Naik’s presentation on “Al Qur’an – Aalami Zaroorat.”
The following day, Sunday, October 13, 2024, will feature another set of lectures starting at 6:15 PM. Shaikh Fariq Naik will speak on “Religion in the Right Perspective,” while Dr. Zakir Naik will host a session titled “Dr. Zakir Se Poochiye – Sawaal Aur Jawaab Ki Khuli Nashisht,” which will allow the audience to engage directly with him by asking questions.
A major event is scheduled for October 19 at Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad, where Dr. Naik will present a lecture titled “Muslim Professional Ki Zimmedari” at 6:15 p.m. This visit has generated significant interest, and large crowds are expected at his lectures. The tour will conclude in Islamabad on October 20.
