Fake Female ASP Arrested in Lahore

A young woman posing as an assistant superintendent of police (ASP) was arrested on Sunday after entering the office of the Lahore capital city police officer (CCPO) dressed in a police uniform. The woman, a resident of DHA Phase 5, introduced herself as an ASP and was initially granted protocol by the security personnel at the entrance.

Officials stated that she requested a meeting with the CCPO and demanded that he come out of his office, which raised suspicions among the security team. Their doubts intensified when they noticed she was wearing “fancy shoes,” not part of the official police uniform.

When questioned, the woman was unable to provide any identification or documents to back her claim. It was soon revealed that she was impersonating an officer. The Civil Lines police were called, and she was taken into custody. An FIR was filed against her for impersonating a police officer.
