Ali Raza played a crucial role in the Panthers’ success in the final, where they faced off against the Markhors at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium. Although Raza claimed only one wicket, it was a vital one—the dismissal of the in-form Kamran Ghulam, who was trapped leg-before-wicket for just 2 runs. Raza’s tight bowling spell, in which he gave away just 19 runs in his five overs, significantly contributed to restricting the Markhors to a modest total of 122 runs.

The Panthers’ disciplined bowling attack, led by the experienced Shadab Khan, ensured that the Markhors struggled to find any momentum throughout their innings. Mohammad Hasnain, Sajid Khan, and Arafat Minhas were the standout bowlers with multiple wickets, but it was Ali Raza’s consistent line and length that applied pressure during the middle overs, making it difficult for the opposition to build partnerships.
