Muhammad Waseem Wins Another Fight With Knock Out

Star Pakistani top boxer, Muhammad Waseem knocked out Georgia’s Jaba Memishishi in the third round to emerge victorious in a World Boxing Federation (WBF) Bantamweight ranking fight.

This marks Waseem’s 13th professional win, with nine of those being knockouts. His overall boxing record now stands at 13 wins and 2 losses from 15 fights.

Earlier, Waseem was denied a visa to Denmark, a situation that left him disappointed, as he shared in an interview with a local news outlet.

“I have been a two-time WBC (World Boxing Council) silver champion, yet they rejected my visa, saying I might not return. I travelled the world over and was training with my coaches in London. I needed to reach Malta early to prepare for my upcoming world title fight,” he explained.

In August, the “Falcon” expressed confidence ahead of his fight, originally scheduled against Sabelo Cebekhulu for the WBF World Bantamweight championship.

Waseem said, “I’m optimistic about my success against my opponent. The world title fight is crucial for me, and I don’t want to miss this chance.” He also called on the Pakistani government, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and the army chief to step in and assist in securing his visa, with which he was having troubles with at the time.
