According to credible sources, the Indian team is not set to tour Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, with their matches being held at an alternate venue.
The Champions Trophy 2025, which is set to be held in Pakistan from 19 February to 9 March, will feature 8 of the top ranked ODI sides taking part.
While no other teams have shown reluctancy to tour Pakistan, India has on multiple occasions refused to send the Men in Blue to their neighboring country due to the history between the two nations. Now, it is expected that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have once again decided not tour Pakistan despite no qualms from the rest of the countries.
According to sources, India’s games will be held in neutral venues and if they manage to qualify for the Semi-Final and the Final then those games will be shifted from Pakistan to, with UAE the likely venue for the matches.
Previously, Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) chairman and Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi stated that the entire tournament will be held in the country with all the teams, including India, participating in the competition.
Meanwhile, India’s External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, is set to visit Pakistan for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, which is set to commence next week. It was rumored that Mohsin Naqvi and Jaishankar will discuss the upcoming tournament and India’s participation in it.
At the moment, the reports have suggested that BCCI and the BJP Government are unlikely to send the Men in Blue for the historic tour of Pakistan for the mega-event.

It would be much better to put the Indian Team out of the tournament instead of moving their matches out of the host country. Simple!
The Indian cricket team is the top revenue earner in any ICC tournament by far. There won’t be a champions trophy without India in it but there definitely can be one without Pakistan in it.
Good decision by BCCI. I vast majority of Indians don’t want any kind of bilateral relations with Pakistan.
Is pakistan needed for anything, at all?
