Was it Out or Not Out? Chris Woakes’ Unbelievable Effort in Pak-Eng Test

Chris Woakes incredible acrobatics catch on the boundary ropes during the Pakistan-England Test match in Multan has everyone wondering if it was out or not-out.

There was a very interesting moment in the 117th over of the first innings of the Pakistan vs England Test match, when Jack Leach was bowling to Agha Salman.

On the third ball of the over, Salman danced down the pitch in an attempt to hit leach out of the park. The ball went high and long, and for a moment nobody knew where it would end up. As the sky-high ball proceeded to lose altitude, Chris Woakes at long-off looked in business. In a moment of amazing agility, Woakes popped up the ball on the edge of the rope and hopped back over to take the catch.

It seemed out at first, with Woakes successfully parrying the ball and coming back over the boundary to catch it, but replays showed that Woakes was still not fully in the air, with his right toe still just barely touching the ground mid-jump, with the umpires confirming it was six runs.
