Honor Magic 7 Pro Appears in Company CEO’s Hands

In a recent showcase, Honor’s CEO George Zhao provided fans with a preview of the company’s next flagship device, the Honor Magic 7 Pro. However, the reveal comes with a catch – the smartphone is concealed within a specially designed camouflage case, a common practice for protecting prototype devices to avoid showing off too much.

Despite the protective case, some key features of the Magic 7 Pro are still discernible. Most notably, the device sports a pill-shaped cutout at the top of its display, similar to Apple’s iPhones. This aperture houses not only the front-facing camera but also incorporates advanced 3D facial recognition technology for secure unlocking, again, just like iPhones.

Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Magic7 Pro appears to feature a curved display. This design choice aligns with current trends in high-end Chinese smartphones, which typically showcase sleek, curved screens for a premium look and feel.

Another hallmark of late 2024’s top-tier devices is the presence of ultra-thin bezels, a feature that the Magic7 Pro seems to embrace fully. This design element maximizes screen real estate.

While the front of the device offers some insights, the rear remains largely a mystery. The protective case effectively obscures most of the back panel, including the full layout of the camera array. However, an LED flash and two camera lenses are still visible in the case.

The launch date for the Honor Magic 7 series is set for October 30.
