The Islamabad/Rawalpindi Metro Bus service, including all feeder routes, will remain closed on October 18, 2024.
The decision has been made due to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest and the enforcement of Section 144, which has been ordered across Punjab.
Authorities have requested that the suspension of Metro Bus Services continue for this additional day to ensure public safety.
It is important to note that the Metro Bus service had already been suspended since October 14, 2024, due to the ongoing Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Islamabad.
Furthermore, all public and private colleges and universities across Punjab will also remain closed tomorrow in light of the current situation.
