Starting from the overnight score of 36/2, Ollie Pope and Joe Root failed to steer their side away from trouble with Pope departing for 22.

Root (18), Harry Brook (16), Jamie Smith (6), Ben Stokes (37), and Brydon Carse (27) followed suit as England looked to stroke their way out of trouble.

Jack Leach (1) and Shoaib Bashir (0) offered little resistance as Pakistan eased to a win with Noman taking 8 and Sajid accounting for 2 scalps.

Earlier, Salman Ali Agha played a crucial knock in the third innings to set an imposing total for Stokes’ men.  Pakistan and England will next face each other in the deciding test beginning on October 24th.
