Faysal Funds Partners with AKUH to Create Breast Cancer Awareness

In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Faysal Funds proudly organized a special Breast Cancer Awareness Session in collaboration with the prestigious Aga Khan University Hospital. This initiative underscores our commitment to raising awareness about one of the most critical health issues facing women today.

A comprehensive session was led by qualified healthcare professional Ms. Rabel Khawaja from Aga Khan University Hospital. The event aimed to educate participants on breast cancer prevention, the importance of early detection, and the latest treatment options available. She shared invaluable insights regarding risk factors, screening recommendations, and self-examination techniques, empowering attendees to manage their health proactively.

“Raising awareness about breast cancer is essential in fighting this disease,” said Ms. Rabel. “Through education and open dialogue, we can encourage women to take charge of their breast health and seek early detection, significantly improving outcomes.”

Ms. Ghazal Shafiq, Senior Manager – HR commented: “Faysal Funds is dedicated to fostering a culture of awareness and support in the community, and events like this are pivotal in achieving our mission. This session underscores our shared commitment to health, well-being, and the power of collaboration between financial institutions and healthcare organizations. We encourage everyone to prioritize their health by attending regular screenings and promoting conversations about breast health within their communities.”
