Team Captains Announced for Quaid-e-Azam Trophy

Following the announcement of the final schedule for the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy a few days ago, the captains for the eighteen participating teams have been unveiled.

Here are all the captains for the upcoming Quaid-e-Azam Trophy:

Abbottabad will be led by veteran bowling all-rounder Khalid Usman, a steady presence in the team. Peshawar is to be captained by Iftikhar Ahmed, known for his all-round abilities amid showings for WAPDA. Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) will be under the guidance of Hassan Raza. Bahawalpur has Abid Ali at the helm, bringing both experience with a cool head at the top of the order.

Dera Murad Jamali’s squad will be captained by seasoned bowler Imran Khan Sr. who most recently played for Pakistan A in August. Faisalabad has gone for all-rounder Faheem Ashraf as their captain. Explosive middle-order batsman Khushdil Shah will be taking over the reins at FATA. Hyderabad will see young pacer Mohammad Hasnain in charge after he impressed for PTV.

Islamabad is to be captained by the young and talented Rohail Nazir. Mohsin Raza will be leading Larkana. Lahore Blues is headed by top-order batsman Imran Butt. Lahore Whites has handed the captaincy to experienced all-rounder Saad Nasim. Multan will be led by Zain Abbas. Bismillah Khan will be captaining Quetta in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

Star all-rounder Shadab Khan, who most recently guided the Panthers to the Champions Cup, will lead Rawalpindi. Karachi Blues has gone with Fawad Alam as captain.

Interestingly, Karachi Whites will be led by the promising Usman Khan. Sialkot rounds out the list of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy with Usama Mir as their captain, known for his leg-spin prowess.
