South Africa has convincingly defeated Bangladesh in the Second Test match at Chattogram to continue its hunt for the two spots of the World Test Championship (WTC) with only three teams ahead of them in the table.
Their innings and 273 run win improves their points percentage massively and with series against Pakistan and Sri Lanka up next, the Proteas will be hoping to book their tickets to England for the final.
India continues to rule the rankings but its position at the top is not as steady as it was a few weeks ago. A series loss at home to New Zealand has left them vulnerable and with a tour of Australia next up they might be there for the taking.
Pakistan, meanwhile, continues to have an outside chance of making the top two but with South African in their way away from home, the task may be too much for the Green Shirts.
