Indian cricketer Manoj Tiwary recently shared a social media post featuring Pakistani players has gone viral, sparking excitement among fans before the highly anticipated contest between the two teams.
During a photo session for the upcoming Hong Kong Sixes, Manoj Tiwary was seen posing alongside Pakistan’s captain Faheem Ashraf and all-rounder Asif Ali, capturing a moment of camaraderie that transcends borders.
In the post, Tiwary shared a powerful message, stating, “Borders divided us, but cricket united us.” He went on to express his excitement for the highly anticipated India-Pakistan face-off at the Hong Kong Sixes, adding that both teams are more than ready for the showdown.
The tournament, set to take place from November 1 to 3, is making a comeback after a hiatus of seven years.
Pakistan is part of Group C alongside India and the UAE. Both of Green Shirts’ games are set to be played tomorrow with Faheem’s men taking on UAE first and then taking the field against their arch-rivals.
The Pakistan squad for the tournament includes a mix of experienced players and promising talent: Faheem Ashraf (captain), Aamer Yamin, Asif Ali, Danish Aziz, Hussain Talat, Muhammad Akhlaq (wicketkeeper), and Shahab Khan.
