Pakistan’s internationally capped footballers Adeel Younas and Kamil Marwat signed a contract with Afghanistan’s Khurasan FC.
Operating out of Faryab Province, Khurasan FC competes in the Afghanistan Champions League. Adeel Younas and Kamil Marwat have both signed one-year deals with the club for the next season Pakisan’s POPO FC.
Younas has been a mainstay in Pakistan’s international setup for a while now after coming through the U19 ranks before representing the country during the much-hyped FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. He has also taken his talents across the globe, showcasing his burgeoning skills.
Primarily a forward, he is equally apt at playing across any of the front three attacking lines.
Despite the ongoing issues with the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), players from the country continue to make noise in the footballing hemisphere.
With promises of a better future after the relative success of Pakistan’s national team, we might see many other talented players from our side of the world showcasing their talents on a much larger scale as the country itself continues to wait for a proper domestic league and an apt footballing structure.
